Dr. B.R. Ambedkar

 Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was an Indian jurist, economist, politician and social reformer widely

recognized as the architect of the Indian Constitution. 


He was born on April 1 , 1891 in Mhow,

Madhya Pradesh, India, and died on December 6, 1956 in New Delhi, India. Dr. Ambedkar was

born into a Dalit family and experienced discrimination and prejudice from an early age.

However, he was an excellent student and earned several degrees, including a Ph.D. from

Columbia University, USA. Dr. Ambedkar fought tirelessly throughout his life for the rights of

Dalits and other marginalized communities in India. He was a strong advocate for social justice,

equality and human rights and his work helped transform Indian society. As a member of the

Constituent Assembly, Dr. Ambedkar played a pivotal role in the drafting of the Constitution of

India. He ensured that provisions to protect the rights of Dalits and other marginalized

communities, such as reservations in education and government jobs, were included in the

constitution. Dr. Ambedkar also founded the Bahujan Samaj Party, which planned to represent

the interests of Dalits and other marginalized communities in Indian politics. His legacy

continues to inspire people around the world to fight for social justice and equality. Finally, Dr.

B.R. Ambedkar was a visionary leader who dedicated his life to fighting for the rights of India's

marginalized communities. His contribution to Indian society, especially in the field of social

justice and human rights, will always be remembered  and celebrated.
